Blue Bed and a Bench

I love how this twin bed came out.
I picture it in a girls room, though with the right bedding and decor it could work for a boy as well.

And in client projects, I just completed this bench re purposed from an old shelf with some great hairpin legs.

Queen Bed and Bedding Picks

When I got this 4 poster bed I knew I wanted it to be a great color that would make a statement in a room. So naturally I went with my favorite shade or turquoise.

I also added some white so that it would show through when distressed

As a form of my "Styling my own Painted Furniture" posts, I wanted to share some vintage and/or vintage inspired bedding I'd pair with this bed. My first stop was ModCloth, and since they have several I like, I figured I share them all :)

Spring 4 Drawer Chest

It's officially spring so here's me showing my love to the season through color.

 The original hardware on this chest of drawers has perfect natural distress marks.

The color is Dijon by Farmhouse paint, with a dark finish

The color is Amy Howard's Cartouche Green. I am obsessed with it when paired with a dark finish.

I realized today

while spending way too much time in my house being sick .. I have had some pretty awesome luck in the lamp-finding department

 

This guy lights up my nightstand 

(from a classy flea, I just painted it white)

 

This vintage floor lamp (good will find) makes for the perfect reading nook/interrogation corner

This little lady just needs a drum shade but is already looking quite nice in my Living Room (recent thrift store find)

And this amazing vintage lamp doesn't have the perfect place in my home so it will be coming to my etsy shop very soon
