Tis the Season

According to all the jewelery store commercials, a lot of people get engaged this time of year.
So I thought this would be a good time to share what kind of decor ReFound Vintage has for your big day (and all the events leading up to it)

Set of three tealight holders made from reclaimed wood. Only $18 for all 3!!

My newest item, slate chalkboards with vintage and vintage inspired keys. The wood frames can be painted custom to match your wedding colors too!

jute rope trim

mini ornate frames with antique music sheets - great for table numbers, buffet labels or just decor

Painted and Distressed Ampersand (also available in any custom color!)

 more mini frames

5 tealight candle holder from reclaimed wood

And if you're planning on a rustic or country style wedding, having some shabby and distressed furntiure will make a huge statement...check my "available furniture section" or
email me at with pictures of your own furntiure that needs a make over for a quote!

I can help you achieve this look with your own personal touch!

New Buffet and My Christmas List

On Black Friday I actually considered going shopping, but the near 70 degree temperature told me to paint all day instead.. So here is what I did..

almost BEFORE.. I already removed the hardware and started refinishing the top..

Then my Daughter and I made our Christmas lists;
Here is mine:

Dear Santa,

I would like the following:

1. A (faux) Cowhide Rug

2.  A Vintage Chandelier
3. A Fun Side Chair

I feel these requests are as reasonable as my daughters requests.. of an elephant and cymbals.
I asked her what she thought Santa should get me.. she quickly responded with
"new paint brushes"
Does she know here mom or what?

A ReFound Vintage Thanksgiving

It was a Vintage, RePurposed and Handmade Holiday at my house this year!

Vintage Finds:
Table with Leaf (that I painted and refinished)
1950's Floral Stoneware
Blue Mason Jars
Silverware in Mason Jar
XL Window (that I painted)
1970's blue floral mug
 Coke Crate
Handmade Items:
Burlap Runner
Wooden Tea light Holders (coming soon to Etsy!)
Chalkboard Chargers (available now on my etsy shop)
Mini Framed Chalkboards (available now on my etsy shop)
This year (besides God, my daughter, our good health, family, friends and dogs)  I am thankful to all who have continued to support me, my little business and big dreams.

I am also very thankful to be working at A Classy Flea. This store has allowed me to meet some of the kindest, strongest and most generous people I could have ever hoped for.

The cliche "when one door closes, another door opens" most definitely applies to me this year, and I look forward to see what is behind the new door in 2013.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I brought this Dresser into The Flea this morning that has more detail than I have ever seen in one piece of furniture.. needless to say, I love it.
It would be a big statement piece in a bedroom or living room with a flat screen above it.
It would even make a great buffet
There are also a ton of details in my booth(s)
My Favorite Details come in the form of Accessories
Here are my 3 current Favorites:

Cool Metal Book Ends

Fun Vintage Fisher Price Globe - it lights up and has a view finder

Faux Deer Antlers I painted White
